Xingye to build new wet-blue plant

Large Chinese footwear upper leather tanners, Xingye said on December 10 that the company will build a new tannery in Jinjiang with production of 1.5 million pieces of cow wet-blue in an investment worth RMB153 million (US$24.5 million).


The statement said the new plant will have the production capacity to process 1.5 million pieces of wet-blue and will be equipped with the latest pollution treatment technologies. Aim of  the increase in production of wet-blue is to make Xingye stronger in the market against competition said the statement.

In other news, Xingye have also appointed Cai Jianshe as a the new CEO of the company.
