Buckman Laboratories announce price increase
With effect from October 15, 2005, Buckman Laboratories will implement a 10% company-wide price increase across all product lines. Additional increases will be necessary on selected products. The price increase is attributed to unprecedented increases in raw material and energy costs in the last 24 months.
In addition, Buckman will institute a freight surcharge for those products with delivered pricing (non-delivered pricing customers will not be affected). The freight surcharge is primarily due to the significant rise in the cost of diesel fuel over the same period. These measures are necessary to ensure that Buckman continue to provide the level of service and stewardship that customers have come to expect, while investing in the long-term growth of the markets they serve.
Buckman representatives are available to discuss how these changes will impact individual customers.
