New Naturali Oda plant in Lithuania

The Seba construction company are to build a new 3.91 million euro plant for the Naturali Oda leather processor in Lithuania, according to the LETA news agency. It is expected that the European Union will provide funding worth 1.80 million euros in the form of structural funds towards the project. The plant, employing 30 people, will be completed in the summer of 2006.
Naturali Oda, who currently employ 50 people, recorded sales worth 1.30 million euros in 2004 and expect sales this year to reach 2.6 million euros. The company export 70% of their production, mostly to Russia, Belarus and the European Union.
