Silvachimica attain ISO 14001 certification
Silvachimica, Italian manufacturers of syntans, fatliquors, and auxiliary products have obtained the ISO 14001 environmental certificate.
According to ceo Antonio Battaglia, 'This certificate issued by Certiquality shows our care in reducing the environmental impact of our processes and products and confirms the reliability of the environment management system applied.'
He states that improvement of the company's environmental performance is a priority for Silvachimica and the company aim to prevent pollution through the best technological solutions, the involvement of employees and suppliers in training, and regular maintenance and updating of the environment management system.
Silvachimica are also members of Silvateam, world leader in vegetable tannins.
