TFL launch technical glossary of shoes and leather
TFL have launched a glossary for the leather world offering technical terms in eight languages including English, Portuguese, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin. The glossary is designed to assist those who deal with leather in their day-to-day communication with business partners. TFL believe that good communication skills coupled with a high level of technical expression are keys to success in today's globalised leather industry.
Part of TFL's superior systems and service, the glossary was created in conjunction with Jussara Petry, who has a long history of involvement with the leather sector.
Subjects covered in the 268 page glossary include technical vocabulary of shoes and leather, wet and dry operations of a hide, subdivisions of a hide, leather uses related to types of hides and skins, and terms related to hides and skins.
TFL customers can request a copy from their local TFL partner.
