New Naturali Oda plant
The Seba construction company are to build a new LTL13.5 million (€3.91 million) plant for the Naturali Oda leather processor in Lithuania, according to the LETA news agency. It is expected that the European Union will provide funding worth LTL6.1 million (€1.8 million) in the form of structural funds towards the project.
The plant, employing 30 people, is due to be completed in the summer of 2006. Naturali Oda, who currently employ 50 people, recorded sales worth LTL4.5 million (€1.3 million) in 2004, and expect sales this year to reach LTL9 million (€2.6 million).
Today, the company are exporting 70% of their production, mostly to Russia, Belarus and the European Union.
