CTC Asia Ltd gets the HOKLAS accreditation
CTC Groupe, France, a worldwide leader in consultancy, inspection and quality control for footwear and leathergoods, has announced the accreditation of its Hong Kong based laboratory CTC Asia Ltd by HOKLAS. The laboratory meets the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025:1999 standard, General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. This concerns specific tests undertaken in the 'Textiles and Garments' category, for footwear, gloves and leathergoods that are analysed as stipulated in the HOKLAS Directory of Accredited Laboratories under the registered number of '158'. The scope of accreditation covers the testing of footwear, gloves, leather goods and textiles.
This accreditation makes CTC Asia Ltd one of the few laboratories in Hong Kong to be granted HOKLAS accredited tests on footwear products and of the official recognition of its technical competence. The French COFRAC committee granted the accreditation based on the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:1999 to the CTC Groupe laboratory whose head office is based in Lyon, France.
CTC Asia Ltd provides laboratory testing for leather shoes, accessories, gloves and bags, as well as chemical analysis for textiles, plastics, and leather, finished-product inspections, and performance analyses. These services assure optimum quality and have come to be trusted worldwide.
