Pittards announce new board members

Mrs Williams joined the group as finance and planning manager in 1989. She was appointed company secretary in 1991 and human resources director in 2002.

Robert Martin Lindsey Blackford has been appointed group financial director (designate) with effect from January 1, 2006. He will join the group board and assume full executive responsibilities on May 1, 2006. Blackford joined Pittards as group financial controller in 1995 and was appointed technical services director in 1999.

He will succeed John Buckley who has announced his intention to retire as group financial director in April 2006 at which time he will have completed twenty years' service in the role.
