Global brands join Footwear Leather Conference
Global brands Adidas, Nike, Timberland and Clarks have signed-up to speak at the Footwear Leather Conference which will be held prior to the APLF show in Hong Kong next March.
Leather International and the BLC Leather Technology Centre, co-organisers of the event, have put together a distinguished line-up of leading footwear and footwear leather manufacturers. Topics to be discussed include the latest developments relating to sourcing, technology, the environment and manufacturing.
'The event will offer an excellent opportunity to ascertain brand expectations in relation to their leather suppliers as well as looking at new technologies' says Martin Ricker, commercial manager, Leather International. 'In addition the conference will provide and ideal platform for tanners and footwear producers to network and build relationships.'
The one-day conference will take place at the Hong Kong Conference and Exhibition Centre on March 27, 2006. Fair organisers, APLF Ltd, and leather chemical producers LANXESS have already signed as sponsors.
