Lithuanian foreign trade in cattle

Lithuania exported 50,341 head of cattle to the European Union in the first nine months of 2005, with most exports going to the Netherlands, Poland and Spain, according to the LETA news agency. Exports were four times higher than in the same period the previous year. Lithuania imported 1,480 head of cattle from the EU in the January to September 2005 period.
