Price increase for LANXESS synthetic iron oxide pigments

Steep increases in the cost of energy, fuel, caustic soda and iron sulfate, together with the continuing high cost of iron raw materials, mean that the prices for all LANXESS' synthetic iron oxides (Bayferrox, Colortherm, Bayoxide) have to be raised with immediate effect by an average of 5-8 %. The measures implemented to improve efficiency have not been sufficient to fully compensate for the rise in costs. This increase is therefore necessary to maintain the accustomed level of quality and service provided.
