Redundancies in Hungarian shoe industry

Increases in the minimum wage in Hungary could lead to the laying off of 3,000 of the total workforce of 10,000 in the country's shoe industry, according to the Interfax news agency. Estimates are that 10% of shoe industry companies could be forced to close down in the coming few years.
