Latest products from Quimser

Quimser continue to improve their international beamhouse range products. Of particular interest are some newly-developed TRD (soaking and degreasing), Rindol (acid and alkaline and wet-blue bating) and Bactol dehairing products, increasing the Quimser enzymatic range in answer to the tanner's needs.

The TRD H enzymatic soaking agents are presented in three versions of 500, 1500 and 3000 ULV in order to help the control of the desired result. The design of these new products has made a significant improvement in the timing of digestion and dissolution of the natural proteins of the leather, reducing soaking times and fogging values.

Bactol EB, Bactol E-1 and Bactol E-7.5 are liming auxiliary products; all of them based on alkaline endo-protease with the last being the most concentrated one. The Bactol range has been developed to be selective and specific as a liming auxiliary.

It accelerates penetration of the liming chemicals, supports the removal of natural fat and produces excellent scud loosening and grain smoothness.

TRD-LP-5 is an enzymatic degreasing agent for alkali pH range. Due to the novel blend of lipases an excellent degreasing is achieved between pH6-12.

On the other hand, for acid pH range with similar concentration but working between pH 2.5-7 there is TRD-AC-3. The obtained leathers are cleaner with better fogging and improved ability to accept the chemical products in the following steps of the beamhouse process.

For bating, the Rindol PQ range is a set of three products with the same nature but different concentrations, from lower to higher: Rindol PQ-0.5, Rindol PQ-1 and Rindol PQ-2. As a result of using Rindol PQ, lightweight and softer leathers are obtained and it makes the range ideal for doubleface and fur.

On the chrome tanned leather front, Quimser have developed Rindol WB for wet-blue hides after deficient bating. It removes degraded proteins and other compounds, cleans the fibres to allow complete and easier distribution of the retanning agents and fatliquors, so softness and other properties are increased.
