18th edition of Sipiel in Madrid

Madrid's International Fashion Week (Sipiel) will be held from 23-25 March at the Feria de Madrid. More than 600 companies have already confirmed their attendance and the net exhibition area has reached 32,000 sq m.

Sipiel is comprised of the international footwear and leather fashion trade fair Modacalzado, and the international leathergoods fair, Iberpiel Marroquineria. Modacalzado, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, will present two trend showcases highlighting the designs likely to set the trend for the Autumn/ Winter 2006/7 season. The fair will also host the first CalzArte, a national photography competition aimed at promoting footwear through the use of images.
