Clariant's first global colour card
Clariant's Leather Business have launched their new shade card illustrating the latest fashion colours for the forthcoming autumn/winter season 2007/8. The company give their clients an insight on trends in the shoe, garment, upholstery and accessory markets twice a year. In cooperation with an international trend consultancy, Clariant will be in the fortunate position to be first to present this exclusive information directly to their customers, more than 20 months ahead.
Colours create fashion and set the trends for tomorrow. That is the reason why Clariant are continuously expanding their fashion activities on an international basis. The result is two colour cards and two trend packages - published well in advance of the corresponding fashion seasons. To be the first is the key for a real service-driven company, because nothing changes so quickly as fashion colours and styles.
Four major themes reflect the key colour moods for the forthcoming autumn/winter season. Paper Tints, Woodland Naturals, Terracotta Tones and Strata Brights show a clear commitment to new minimalism, organic nature, traditional craftsmanship and precious luxury. The palette ranges from fresh and simple colours like Rice Paper or Manila to rich mineral blues and purples such as Tanzanite, Quartz and Laguna Agate.
The key colour directions are illustrated on real leather samples showing both wet-end formulations realised with Clariant's high quality Derma and Sandoderm dyes and finishing based on Clariant's innovative Neosan 2000 and PPE Pigment ranges.
