ILM visitor number stronger than last year
ILM Winter Styles finished in Offenbach on a positive note. For the autumn/winter 2006/07 season, 215 exhibitors from 13 countries presented their fashionable bags and leathergoods at the three-day long trade fair.
With 4,800 visitors, this number surpassed last year's figure by 6%. Roughly 20% of the visitors came from 40 countries around the world.
There was a general good mood around the fair among the manufacturers of young sportsbags and culture labels as well as among the exhibitors of school-, business-, and travel articles. Once again, high quality fashionable handbags were in demand.
Most trade visitors found the ILM trend inspirations helpful, with around one third of visitors attending the 'Fashion on stage' show in order to familiarise themselves with the new season.
More than 50 participants attended the accompanying workshop programme held on the Sunday. The motto 'Fit for profit' discussed ideas for increasing efficiency in two short seminars by the coach duo Elisabeth Jall, EJ Consulting, and Hans Meurer, anwr - Seminar-Centrum des Handels.
The next edition of ILM Summer Styles will be held from September 28-October 1, 2006.
