Heal's open new laboratory in Shanghai
Leading edge, UK-based, manufacturer of fabric and colour fastness testing instruments, James H. Heal & Co Ltd in partnership with their Chinese Partner, Introtech Limited, have launched a Demonstration Laboratory in Shanghai.
Due to the recent growth in the Chinese textile industry, a need was identified for customers in China to be able to view products before they were purchased. By having this exciting facility available, Heal's customers are able to make an informed decision by seeing the product before they make a purchase.
The laboratory includes some of Heal's premier products including the Nu-Martindale 864 Abrasion and Pilling Tester, Apollo Xenon Arc Light and Weather Fastness Tester and Bursting Strength Tester, TruBurst.
Another excellent benefit for Heal's customers is that they are able to receive training to use the instrument in the laboratory. This means that a customer does not have to wait until the instrument is on their premises to receive training. It also means that they can receive training on new test methods that they have not conducted before.
Heal's Managing Director David Repper commented on the new Demonstration Laboratory: 'This is an exciting innovation for our customers in China. By being able to see the instruments first hand will allow them to make informed decisions about which instruments best suit their needs.'
