Russian corporate results in 2005

Russia's State Statistics Committee reports that 61.7% of all leather industry companies in Russia recorded profits last year, according to the Interfax news agency. Loss-making companies accounted for 38.3% of all companies in the industry last year. Russian leather industry companies had working assets totalling US$408 million at the end of 2005.
