Turkish production in February

Turkey's State Statistics Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Turkey in February was 22% higher than in the same month last year. In comparison, overall manufacturing sector output in Turkey in February was 4.8% higher year-on-year.
Turkey imported raw hides and skins, and leather, worth US$74.9 million in the first two months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%. Turkey also exported the same types of commodities worth US$12.6 million in January and February, a year-on-year increase of 13.2%.
