China Leather Fair
China Leather Fair and All China Shoe-tech will take place in Wenzhou international exhibition convention center from September 26-28. The China Leather Fair covers leather, synthetics and leather chemicals suitable for shoes, luggage & bags, furniture, automobile and fashion accessories. The All China Shoe-tech encompasses shoe machinery, components and lasts, vamp finishing, shoe-making accessories and CAD/CAM systems.
The organisers, Wenzhou Footwear & Leather Association and Donnor Exhibition Co Ltd say that the 2005 edition offered a total floor space of 30,000 sq m, more than 650 worldwide exhibitors with pavilions from Mexico, Italy, China, Germany, India, Pakistan and Taiwan & Hong Kong regions, as well as 20,387 visitors and purchasers from 53 countries.
The organisers are expecting more than 750 exhibitors both domestic and from overseas for the 11th edition. Wenzhou is known as the 'China Shoe Capital, with more than 5,000 footwear manufacturers and output accounting for half of the entire country, nearly 6 billion pairs.
The 2006 event will feature a special gathering of buyers' delegations from manufacturing bases such as footwear, leather garments, upholstered furniture and special purchasing groups for components and shoe machinery from four influential footwear manufacturing bases in China.
