Taking advantage of anti-dumping

Indonesia hopes to boost their footwear exports to US$4 billion by 2008, taking advantage of the European Union's increased duty on leather footwear from China and Vietnam. Indonesia's footwear exports amounted to around $1.5 billion in 2005 and is expected to rise to between $1.7 and $1.95 billion this year.
