APLF visitor figures
The final visitor figures examined by international auditing firm, PriceWaterhouseCoopers have just been published by the organisers. Out of a total of 45,915 visitors, the Materials Manufacturing and Technology Fair attracted 27,819 buyers almost half of which (49%) were looking for all types of hides, skins and leathers, 33% were looking for new suppliers and 28% sourcing and placing orders.
The APLF Materials, Manufacturing & Technology Fair enjoyed the participation of more than 1,850 leading companies from the world leather industry. Most important for exhibitors is not only the number of visitors but also the quality of visitor attracted by APLF. The position of visitors in terms of their decision making power is an overwhelming 92%, as broken down between owner/president, manager and merchandiser.
APLF is the only fair in the sector to submit its visitor figures to an independent examination by an international auditing firm, which guarantees the veracity of the results published for actual and potential exhibitors.
