Croatian production and cattle figures

Croatia's Central Statistics Bureau reports that the production of leather and leather products in Croatia in the first five months of this year was 17.3% higher than in the same period in 2005. In comparison, the annual increase in industrial output in the January to May period was 3.8%.
Croatia produced 78,388 tonnes of cattle in 2005, a year-on-year increase of 8%. A total of 18,972 tonnes of cattle were produced by livestock companies and co-operatives, and 59,416 tonnes by private family farms, in 2005.
