Czech Republic four-month production

The Czech Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in the Czech Republic in the first four months of this year was 9.1% higher than in the same period in 2005. In comparison, overall industrial output in the Czech Republic in the January to April period was 12.2% higher year-on-year.
According to the same office the number of people employed in the Czech leather industry in April was 4.4% per cent lower than in the same month in 2005, according to the CTK news agency's Business News.
