DyStar to acquire Boehme Group
DyStar, leading suppliers of products and services for the textile industry, have announced their intention to acquire the business activities of the Boehme Group. The agreement has been signed and the deal should be completed in 6-8 weeks once all contractual conditions of the agreement have been fulfilled. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Boehme are based in Geretsried near Munich, Germany, and have more than 700 employees worldwide. The acquisition includes all 16 affiliates and 11 production sites in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Ecuador, Israel, Mexico, South Africa, Thailand and the USA.
'Boehme broaden our extensive product offering for the textile industry and strengthen our position in the leather business', says DyStar's CEO Dr Clemens Willée. 'Our combined expertise will make us an even more reliable partner for our customers in the future.'
Boehme are major suppliers to the textile and leather industries, including pretreatment agents as well as products for tanning, dyeing and finishing.
