East European four month production figures
Macedonia's State Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Macedonia in the first four months of this year was 15.9% lower than in the same period in 2005. In comparison, the annual fall in industrial output in Macedonia in the January to April period was 0.9%.
Serbia's Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Serbia in the first four months of this year was 3.5% higher than in the same period in 2005. In comparison, industrial output in Serbia in the January to April period was 4.6% higher year-on-year.
Slovakia's State Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Slovakia in the first four months of this year was 0.2% lower than in the same period in 2005. In comparison, overall manufacturing output in Slovakia in the January to April period was 9.5% higher year-on-year.
