Austrian livestock production in 2005

Statistics Austria reports that the value of livestock production in Austria increased by 1.6% in 2005 compared with the previous year. The number of cattle increased by 2.7% year-on-year. Livestock production accounted for 49% of total agricultural production last year, as against 45% in 2004.
