Israeli first-half foreign trade

Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics reports that Israel exported leather and leather products worth US$7.8 million in the first half of this year, compared with US$8.5 million in the corresponding period in 2005. Israel imported the same types of commodities worth US$48.8 million in the January to June period, as against US$46.0 million in the same period last year.
