Serbian seven-month production and trade

Serbia's Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Serbia in the first seven months of this year was 6.1% higher than in the same period in 2005. In comparison, the annual increase in industrial output in Serbia in the January to July period was 6.5%.

Serbia's Statistical Office reports that Serbia exported leather and leather products worth USD90.2 million in the first seven months of this year, as compared with USD73.9 million in the same period last year. Serbian imports of the same types of commodities in the January to July period were worth USD123 million, as against USD97.4 million in the corresponding period in 2005.
