Ukraine seven-month production

Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that the production of leather and leather products in Ukraine in the first seven months of this year was 15.6% higher than in the same period in 2005. In comparison, industrial output as a whole in Ukraine was 4.8% higher year-on-year.
Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that manufacturers of leather and leather products in Ukraine recorded combined sales worth US$127 million in the first half of this year. In the same period last year, sales were worth US$84 million.
