Tanac open new centre
With much pride, Tanac launched their new Leather Technology Centre (TLTC) in July. This new space was designed for the application of the company's products as well as to provide a range of services to customers. It consists of twelve drums of various dimensions, as well as a laboratory for physical-mechanical tests.
The company will also be holding the XI Tanac Leather Seminar, and this is scheduled to take place in Brazil in November 2006.
Tanac are the biggest mimosa vegetable extracts producer worldwide and cultivate their own forests (70 million trees) which are certified under FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). The company have ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities in Montenegro city (in the south of Brazil) which produce around 35,000 MT of mimosa extract per year.
Tanac will be present at the All China Leather Exhibition. As usual, the company's commercial and technical staff will be on hand to assist customers in Hall 2.
