SATRA stresses importance of CE marking safety footwear

The CE mark reassures customers that the safety footwear they are buying is fit for its intended use, and meets some of the world's strictest standards. For a product to receive a CE mark, it must be assessed by an accredited European Notified Body, such as SATRA. Simmons also stressed the need for European distributors and retailers to check that all footwear they are supplied with has received an EC type examination certificate.
