Third quarter cattle slaughter in Germany

Germany's Federal Statistics Office reports that 809,000 head of cattle (excluding calves) were commercially slaughtered in Germany in the third quarter of this year, a decrease of 2.7%, or 22,200 head, as compared with the same quarter in 2005.
