Turkish capacity utilisation

Turkey's State Statistics Institute reports that leather industry production in Turkey in August was 21.1% higher than in July and 36.8% higher than in August 2005. In comparison, manufacturing output in Turkey in August was 3% lower month-on-month and 4% higher year-on-year.
The Turkish leather industry was operating at 59.6% of its overall production capacity in September, compared with 63.2% in the same month last year. In comparison, Turkey's manufacturing industry was operating at 72.5% capacity in September, as against 72% in September 2005.
