GOSH Leather close

GOSH Leather, part of the Schaffer Group, closed their doors on August 31 after thirteen years of making upholstery leather from wet-blue in their Aus$10 million tannery in Hamilton Hill, Fremantle, Western Australia. Prior to that, they had grown from a small tanning operation called Calsil, which was established in the Shilkin tannery when it went bankrupt in 1984. They renamed themselves GOSH in 1988.
