Argentina first-half foreign trade

Argentina's National Statistics Institute reports that Argentina exported leather and leather products worth US$497 million in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 8.1%. Argentina exported leather and leather products worth US$949 million in 2005 as a whole.
Argentina imported leather and leather products worth US$53.2 million in the January to June period, a year-on-year increase of 45.1%. Argentina imported the same types of commodities worth US$84.4 million last year.
