FA opens in Hong Kong
Fashion Access (FA) is the largest trade fair in Asia for handbags, footwear, travelware, leather garments and fashion accessories. It is the place to view new products, inspiring designs and future trends from across the entire price and product range.
The fair opened on 4 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) with over 500 companies from 27 countries and regions displaying an array of the very latest fashion accessories. Ninety-nine exhibitors attended the fair for the first time, giving buyers the possibility of visiting a large selection of companies they probably have not seen before.
There were over 80 footwear companies exhibiting, almost double that of the last October fair. Products ranged across the footwear spectrum, from sports and man-made products to high-end fashion. There were exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, France, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Spain and Thailand.
The exhibition incorporated a wide range of exhibitors in the handbag sector, reflecting the growing demand in this sector. 52% of the total exhibitors showcased handbags of different materials, functions and occasions.
An unprecedented number of buyers, from all over the world, attended the exhibition, underlining the surging growth of the market for fashion accessories.
