Albanian nine-month foreign trade

Albania's National Statistics Institute reports that Albania exported leather and leather products worth US$11.4 million in the first nine months of 2006, compared with US$9.75 million in the same period the previous year. Albanian imports of the same types of commodities in the January to September 2006 period were worth US$52.2 million, as against US$42.7 million in the corresponding period in 2005.
