Ukraine cattle numbers

Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that the number of cattle on farms in Ukraine on January 1 this year was 6.33 million, a decrease of 2.8% compared with the number on the same date in 2006.
Production of leather and leather products in Ukraine in the first two months of this year was 8.1% lower than in the same period in 2006. In comparison, overall industrial output in Ukraine in January and February was 13.4% higher year-on-year.
