Russian production in 2006

Russia's State Statistics Committee reports that Russia produced 2.1 billion square decimetres of chrome-tanned leather products in 2006, an increase of 41% compared with the previous year. Footwear production totalling 52.8 million pairs was 11.9% higher year-on-year.
