LEFASO meeting, Vietnam

A meeting of members of the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association (LEFASO) on March 6 agreed to invest more in the production of materials, with the aim of boosting the competitiveness of Vietnam's leather industry, according to the Vietnamese News Agency. The industry is currently handicapped by a serious lack of domestically-produced materials and poor infrastructure. LEFASO also called on its members to increase their trade promotion activities.
