North Korean footwear leather product

The Korea Shoes Trading Company are reported to have developed a new product from an un-named marine organism that removes fats and oils from leather without the need to use chemical de-oiling and softening agents, according to the KCNA news agency. The product is said to simplify the tanning process and reduce production costs. It is now being used by many tanners in North Korea.
