Irish foreign trade in January

Ireland's Central Statistics Office reports that Ireland exported raw hides and skins worth 6.8 million euros in January, compared with 7 million euros in the same month last year. Ireland also imported the same types of commodities worth 100,000 euros in January, the same figure as in January 2006. Figures from the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service reveal that the United States imported leather products worth US$110,592 from Ireland in January, a year-on-year decrease of 53%.
