Croatian four-month production

Croatia's Central Statistics Bureau reports that the production of leather and leather products in Croatia in the first four months of this year was 22.3% higher than in the same period in 2006. In comparison, industrial output in Croatia in the January to April period was 8.3% higher year-on-year.
38,250 head of cattle of a total weight of 7,788 tonnes were slaughtered in abattoirs in Croatia in the first quarter of this year. These figures were 13% and 10% higher respectively than in the same period in 2006.
