Ukraine livestock slaughters

There were 6.83 million head of cattle on farms in Ukraine on June 1 this year, compared with 7.35 million head on the same date in 2006. Production of leather and leather products in Ukraine in the first five months of this year was 5.4% lower than in the same period in 2006. In comparison, overall industrial output in Ukraine in the January to May period this year was 12.1% higher year-on-year.
