Stahl publish their poster and colour forecast
A bright multicoloured dress introduces Stahl's Fashion Colour Forecast poster for autumn and winter 2008/2009. The poster will make a bright show on the wall to cheer-up the work place over the dull winter hours.
The colours fall easily into six groups - High Profile Contrast, Rainbow Parade, Old Fashioned Harmonies, Mineral Poetry, Blurring Appearance and Graphical Discipline.
Each is descriptive of the colours and shades within the group. Each, in turn, relates to the groups of colours and fashion effects used in Stahl's autumn and winter 2008/2009 Colour Forecast Cards that provide top-level guidance to designers.
If the Stahl's autumn/winter 2008/2009 colour forecast can be summed up in one word, they say it is 'dramatical'. From nature to the theatre, from history to techno cyber-vision, from the mists of winter to the warmth of the fireside or the teenager's club, this is a positive explosion of colours, contrasts and textures.
