Telmo Seganfredo award
At a recent ceremony in Campinas Brazil, Steve Buckman, CEO of Buckman Laboratories International, presented the Edward Weiss Memorial Award to Telmo Seganfredo. The Edward Weiss merit award is given annually in recognition of individual excellence for contributions in the fields of research, applications technology, marketing or technical support and sales.
Telmo Seganfredo is a long-term employee of Buckman Laboratories and is well known and respected in the Brazilian leather industry for his expertise in the beamhouse and for his knowledge regarding microorganism control. Telmo travels extensively, providing technical support to large tanneries. He also shares his knowledge with the next generation of tanners by lecturing at the Senai Center for Leather Technology in southern Brazil. Telmo has earned the respect of his peers in the industry for his team contributions, individual efforts and focus on solving customer problems.
