Israeli foreign trade

Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics reports that Israeli exports of leather and leather products increased slightly year-on-year in the first five months of this year. Exports were worth US$7.5 million, compared with US$6.6 million in the same period in 2006. Israel imported the same types of commodities worth US$45.6 million in the January to May period, as against US$37.3 million in the corresponding period last year.
