Russia leather industry profit

Russia's State Statistics Committee reports that leather industry companies in Russia recorded a combined net profit of US$3.92 million in the first quarter of this year, a year-on-year fall of 2%, according to the Interfax news agency.
Russia produced 1.4 billion square decimetres of chrome-tanned leather products in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 45%.
