Croatian production and slaughter

Croatia's Central Bureau of Statistics reports that the production of leather and leather products in Croatia in April was 4.3% higher than in the same month last year. In comparison, industrial output in Croatia in April was 6.3% higher year-on-year.
It was also reported that 24,061 head of cattle of a total weight of 4,797 tonnes were slaughtered in abattoirs in Croatia in the first quarter of this year. These figures were respectively 22% and 27% lower than in the same period last year.
